The Indian cricket governing body has confirmed and revealed the full calendar of New Zealand’s visit to India in January and February 2023 to play three T20I matches series. The Kiwis have been invited to compete in the India vs New Zealand T20 series, which will take place from the 27th of January to the 1st of February 2023. The BCCI has confirmed and declared the stadiums and dates for the matches of the India vs New Zealand T20 series 2023, and they have chosen three different venues for all three T20Is.
The T20 series between India and New Zealand 2023 will begin with the first T20I on January 27, Fri at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. The teams will then travel to Lucknow for the second T20I on January 29 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Finally, the series finale will be played on February 1 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Since the player’s name has yet to be announced, Hardik Pandya will most likely captain the Indian T20 squad in the series, while Kane Williamson will captain New Zealand. Hardik Pandya is an all-rounder who demonstrated his abilities in the shortest format of the game when India visited New Zealand in 2022.
In comparison to India, New Zealand is far behind in the ICC ranking, coming in fifth place; India, on the other hand, is first in the ICC T20 team ranking. But India will not take them lightly because New Zealand has plenty of talent, such as Devon Conway. On the other hand, the Indian team has an outstanding performer in the form of Suryakumar Yadav, who is ranked first in the ICC T20 players ranking. So, watching both of them compete in the upcoming India vs. New Zealand T20 series in 2023 will be very exciting and thrilling.
