AUS vs PAK T20I 2024 Series – During the second T20I match that took place on Saturday, Australia defeated Pakistan by a score of 13 runs, so securing a 2-0 victory in the three-match series. Spencer Johnson, a seamer from Australia, achieved his first five-wicket haul in international cricket.

After losing Mohammad Rizwan for 16 and Salman Agha for a first-ball duck, Pakistan made a sluggish start and were reeling at 44-4 at one point. Johnson ripped through the top order with three wickets, and Pakistan was attempting to win by chasing 148.
After being dismissed by Matthew Short, Usman Khan scored his first half-century, but he conceded a courageous 52 as Johnson struck again in his last spell. Johnson’s spell was the final one he played.
After that, Johnson got rid of Abbas Afridi for four at the end of the innings, bringing his total to 5-26. Irfan Khan then launched another counterattack with a score of 37 without losing. Electing to bat first in front of a huge crowd, Australia clobbered 21 runs in the opening over off Shaheen Shah Afridi. Pakistan won the prior one-day international series 2-1 before a 29-run defeat in the rain-shortened T20 series opener.
The third and final match takes place in Hobart on Monday.
