World Test Championship 2025 Final Date and Venue
The dates for the ICC World Test Championship 2025 final have been set by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The famous Lord’s Cricket Ground in London will be the site of the event.
The one-off Test match is set to happen from June 11th to June 15th, 2025. June 16th has been set aside in case there are any delays.
The World Test Championship 2025 final has been held at Southampton in 2021 and The Oval in 2023, with New Zealand and Australia winning each time. This will be the first time that the final has been held at Lord’s.
The top two teams in the WTC standings at the end of this run will play in the final. India, led by Rohit Sharma, is currently in first place, with Australia, the reigning champions, close behind. Other teams, like New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh, are still in the running for a spot in the final because there are still a lot of points to be won.
Fans who want to see the historic game at Lord’s can now put in their requests for seats. “The ICC World Test Championship 2025 Final has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the cricketing calendar, and we are pleased to announce the dates for the 2025 edition,” ICC CEO Geoff Allardice said of the event.
“This shows how popular Test cricket is, as fans from all over the world are still captivated by it.” Tickets will be in high demand so I would encourage fans to register their interest now to ensure they are in with a chance of watching the Ultimate Test next year.”
