The USA and West Indies will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024.
The groups and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over showcase were announced on Friday, January 5, 2024, and three locations in the USA and six in the Caribbean will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Ten of the twenty nations will play their opening match of the 29-day competition in the United States; 16 matches will take place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, and the exciting encounter between India and Pakistan is set for June 9 at the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island.

Six Caribbean islands will host 41 matches, with the title decider set for June 29 in Barbados and the semi-finals in Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana.
The competition will start on June 1 with co-hosts USA playing neighbours Canada. On the second day of group play, fellow hosts the West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana.
Before the knockout semi-finals and final, the top two teams from each of the four groups that make up the event advance to the Super Eight stage.
In Group A with co-hosts USA are rivals India and Pakistan, Canada making their debut in the competition, and Ireland, a European team.
Namibia, Scotland and Oman will be played by the past two Men’s T20 World Cup winners, England and Australia, in Group B.
Group C contains the West Indies, together with New Zealand, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea; Group D has South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal paired up against one another.
