The cricket governing body of India has officially declared that the Indian cricket team, commonly referred to as the Men in Blue, will embark on a tour to Ireland in August 2023 for a bilateral T20 series. This upcoming Ireland vs India T20 series 2023 is scheduled to comprise three T20 matches, spanning from August 18 to August 23. The intention behind this series is to provide the Irish team with an opportunity to assess their performance and work towards improving their gameplay.
All the matches of the Ire vs Ind T20 series 2023 are set to take place at The Village in Malahide. The T20 series is set to commence with the first T20 on August 18, followed by the second T20 clash on August 20, and concluding with the final match on August 23.
For the Ireland visit, Jassprit Bumrah has been chosen as the captain of the Indian team, while the captaincy of the Irish side will be led by Paul Stirling. This tour signifies the return of Bumrah to International cricket after an absence of approximately 11 months.
