The Bangladesh Cricket Board organizes the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), a highly qualified cricket league in the shortest game format. The league is being held in an effort to find new young Bangladeshi cricket talent. The BPL 2023 will be the ninth edition of the BPL, beginning their journey in January 2023. The league will last longer than one month, from January 5 to February 16, 2023.
The BPL 2023 will feature 7 teams playing 46 games against each other. Rangpur Riders, who have been absent for the past two seasons, will return in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League 2023. Each team in the league is permitted to sign a minimum of ten local players and two foreign players.

The Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, located in the port city of Chattogram, has a seating capacity of 20,000 people.
The Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, also known as Mirpur Stadium, has a seating capacity of 26,000 people.
Sylhet International Cricket Stadium has a capacity of 18,500 people.
