PTV Sports HD is a 24-hour sports channel owned by the Pakistan Television Corporation, Pakistan's state broadcaster. Pakistan Super League:
PSL Format:
PSL is played in a double round-robin format. Each team will face him twice and the top four will advance to the playoffs.
The league follows the rules and regulations dictated by the International Cricket Council, but in T20s adopted the DRS system which was later also emulated by the International Cricket Council. In the group stage, 2 points are awarded for a win, 1 point for no result, and 0 points for a loss. In the event of a tie, after both teams reach their quotas, super-overs will be used to determine the winner of the match.
In the Group Stage, teams will be ranked according to the following criteria:
- Highest score
- The highest run rate in a tie
- The highest number of wins in a tie
- The lowest number of losses in a tie
- Tie in head-to-head results
No result in either case Super-overs is used in playoff matches to determine the winner. If a super over is not possible or if the over results in a draw, the team with the highest league standings at the end of the regular season will be deemed the winner of the match.
